Rattling sound in rear door near latch on my GV

I'm trying to disgnose a tinny rattling sound coming from the rear door near the latch. I can hear it when ever I drive over small bumps in the road and it getting quite annoying.

I've pulled off the inner plastic door skin and had a look inside the door cavity but can't see anything loose.

Has anyone else had this problem and do you know what causes it?

The locking mechanism rods on my tailgate latch rattle a bit, I just shoved an old rag over it.
