I don't understand doubling up on stock gauges. If you are happy to have two gauges for the same thing, why not have two speedos or two fuel gauges? Which do you look at? Which do you believe?

I have added a boost gauge, digital tach and GPS as a speedo in my car, because my speedo is wildy inaccurate, and I obviously didn't have a tach or boost gauge stock.

I'm not really even that sure about an oil pressure gauge - I think if you are in a position to loose oil pressure, you're not looking at the gauge - you need a big, bright light or a buzzer. Other than that, an oil pressure gauge is really a measure of engine wear.

I agree that Autometer are great.

PS why would anyone want a temp gauge that reads in Fahrenheit?

Like Steve said, There should be a warning light for oil pressure, Just like I did in my previous car. I had it mounted to the boost guage which was on the steering column. As soon as that light comes on switch the motor off to prevent death.

That may be so, but from my experience with alot of stanley products ( hand tools mainly) their quality has dropped significantly in the past 5 or 6 years.

IF you're going to abbreviate it, the pronounciation would be the same - so who cares how you spell it - Tacho, Taco, Tako, Tacko.

IF you're going for the whole word - tackometer is the way to pronounce it, tachometer is the way to spell it
