Cant believe it!!!!!!!!!!! Fixed the gearshift problem with the bush, then the transfer shifter with a new bush, only to find the timing belt tensioner let go and burnt its way out through the plastic cover. Dont know how it didnt destroy the engine but it didnt. Well got some spares sent up overnight as was going to Ripley for a bash Sat. But after fitting the new belt and tensioner, plastic welded up the cover put it all back together and went for a test!!!!. Hmmm lots of revs but not going anywhere fast. The clutch has also given up - can anything else go wrong. I know we give this thing hell but ......

Bad shit happens in threes? Or something like that...

Soldier on, and go for a drive with the roof off when you're done. That usually gets a smile out of me :)

Have you tried standing back, taking a breath and having a good look at the situation?

I have never experienced a clutch 'just going' its either been fucked for ages, you have lots of oil leaking on it or there is an adjustment problem, all things that are better looked at before pulling it to bits

oh and shep x2, 6 years of daily use and only once has it broken down (at home, when I was sposed to help somebody move, so that was alright really)

Your motor didnt lunch itself because g13a/ba motors are non interferace, meaning the pistons cant hit the valves.
