i have a sierra with standard seats (usual sad cond ones) and was thinking of installing some bucket seats. What is required in qld to make it legal and what is the cost associated?

the sierra already has a mod plate for being a 2 seater.

there are plenty more if thats not enough.... pretty much buy the autotechnica seats unless you want something like a recaro or race bucket.

you need an engineer to sign off on the install of the seats . mod code LK1 . will cost about $130 , can hook you up with a guy that will do the mod plate no worrries providing its a neat install with the correct grade bolts.

Depending on what you prefer, I'd go something like a swift bucket seat before an autotechnica type "race" seat. The sides aren't too high and they're super comfy to be in

thats similar to what im puttin in but mine will be saas with skank camo upholstery on the inserts..............

hmmmm that means it will cost me $130 plus a couple hundred for some seats. might just stick some ok seat covers for $50 and not worry about the hassel.
