Gudday all, first posting. Just after some advice regarding the 95 octance requirement in my 2010 jimny, can you get the stuff in rural areas, and if not does the standard fuel do damage to the car?? thanks
standard fuel should be ok - just make sure if you do get any pinging you take it easy.
perhaps carry a bottle or two of that octane booster stuff you can buy as a "just in case"
i run my efi sierra on 98 as often as i can and drop to 95 now and then if 98 isnt available.. if i run mine on 91 it does suffer a little pinging under load, particularly in 5th doing above 80km/hr.
Have travelled across most of the Country in mine and never really had a problem finding 95.
Like Alien suggested, a bottle of Octane boost in the glovebox isn't a bad idea in case you are really in a pinch out in the absolute middle of nowhere, but haven't had need to use it yet.
