Its a White 89 Vitara, tin top SWB.
The Good: has a new motor, new front wheel bearings, TJM Alloy winch bullbar, little bit of rust, very legal tyres, runs like a dream.
The Bad: its unlicenced, it needs a Rear bumper and front CV boot replace (supplied, needs fitting) for rego, gearbox is FUBAR (see my other thread, it wont shift into 1st, 3rd or 5th, however drives fine).
the shell is in good nick, 4wd system is mint, brakes are good, and the majority of the stuff i needed to do for rego has been done.
Reason for selling, i need the money, going to europe on thursday 23rd of june, and i need it goneskis!
bit dark to take photos, i was out all day for soccer, but i shall upload some tomorrow.
making a loss, but looking for $700, mate sold just a motor, with few hundred thousand k's for 800, so i think its fair.

My guess it'd of been EFI. 700$ is a fair price.

aaaaand, piccies, after having to resize them 4 times.
my pet hate is rocking up to buy a car and having someone bullshit you, ive got nothing to hide with this car, so ive put up a pic of the only "major" rust in it, its the back passenger side corner of the engine bay.
other than that, the only major issue it has is the gearbox, which could be something simple, or it could mean a new box, i dont know, and i dont have the time to diagnose it.

doubt it would fit mate, would need new brackets plus ur car would be wider so would look a bit funny.

Well if anyone in WA wants the engine for a Sierra conversion, I'll have a courier pick up the bull bar and give you $250 for your trouble.
You take the engine and anything else you need and scrap the rest!

ive sent cars before, 600-800 was the going rate a few years ago, alot of trucks come over from the east and go back half empty so its a bit cheaper from west to east, than east to west, but call a few places, its not an issue for me to drop it off at a depot.

More info on the new motor? Rebuilt? How old? Also, how many K's were you getting to a tank?

not really much info to be had, block cracked and it was replaced with a reco'd unit, head is a new casting, as that was cheaper than reco'ing the old one.
was done about 7 months ago, had about 10,000k's on it when the clutch went and mate re-rego'd it cause he was quoted bulk money to fix it.
the problem ended up being the clutch arm, $32 :/
and about k's to a tank, i dunno, i never drove it for any great length of time to be able to tell ya
