I have just got my vit regested yester day was driving around no problems then today drove around for a bit then the at 1500 rpm to 2200 it starts to jerk any ideas in first gear its all good in nutral it is all good it blows no smoke engine has a lil tappet noise the jerking only happens 2nd gear to 5th gear reverse is normal i just fueled up to

possibly shit fuel, but check your ignition system, spark plugs, rotor button and cap, timing.

i just took it for a drive now the gearbox oil was cold so it tells me that the oil was getting to hot and thinning out to much so what sort of oil do i need as it was perfect to drive just then

EPX80W/90. Change all your gear oils, not just gearbox. I doubt this will fix your jerking problem tho

The higher the grade number the thicker the oil is. Old gear oil goes black from use. If it's like my Bravo transfer it may have water in it which will come out first

gear oil is maple syrup kinda consistency, but doesnt smell like maple syrup.

when i had my problems i checked to make sure i had enogh oil and it was nearly like water it was very thin. could it be wrong type of oil it smelled like motor oil

Smells like rotten arse. I have a phobia of gear oil after my oil explosion incident haha.

haha i actually dont mind the smell of gear oil when its new... after its been in a diff with some water in it on the otherhand, not so much.
