My hardtop's body is basically a polished turd, I wouldn't mind tracking down a straight and rust free LWB Sierra body and chassis for when rust starts making an encore appearance in my current setup.
There's one on ebay now, but it's a POS. Do good ones pop up regularly or only once in a blue moon?

There was a massive spate of lwb's on ebay about 5 months ago. It seems that if your willing to wait, one will turn up for you That one on ebay seems alright if you are willing to spend the time getting rid of all the rust on it. And if you can get it for the $550 its at atm, it would be alright. (so long as the chassy isn't rusted)

Awesome, so they're not ultra rare. Fatzook - why only $3500 for the gumtree one?
I don't want a rusty one - once rust is in a car it never disappears, not with my skills anyway.
I'd almost sell mine to get that (not that mine is worth anything except for WT spares)

Its a worn out 1L. Reconditioned tray? WTF does that mean? Was it damaged? was it rusty? Seats are torn, engine bay is a bit manky and its got hail damage. For $4k it should have around 100,000km on the ODO, and be fairly clean looking.
This is just my opinion ofcourse.
This was $4k. It came with a full removable hard top, bullbar, no rust or mods, 80,000km and its only issues were some small bubbles in the paint on the fibreglass ute back, and a rear main seal leak ($10 part).

That one is not a suzuki as such it is a maruti (an Indian copy) and it only has the 1L engine in it. You might be able to talk her down as it has been on there for a long time

Cheers guys for your input, I though the LWB's might be worth a bit more just coz they are LWBs. I'll lay in wait on Ebay for something 'just right' to pop up. Not in a hurry.

in my opinion there are 2 types of LWB, Indian made and Japanese made.
the jap ones are made of awesome and the Indian ones are made from what ever is laying around at the time.

Still looking for a LWB, or maybe another WT hardtop straight and true (1992 or under). Mechanicals not important, just need a tidy body and chassis. Shoot me a reply if you spot anything worth a look

Tim, ask suzistore to keep an eye out for you as they get all sorts coming in all the time. Perhaps they'd let you put a wanted ad behind their counter?
