So im looking into building up a sierra for 4bying, I want to keep it Qld road legal (to the degree where cops wont pick it up), apart from tyres. Im on abit of a budget too. So what should i do.
Ill be aiming to run 31's
Ill probably make my own Snorkel, barwork, maybe exhaust too.
so to keep it cheap, should i just do a 2" body lift or cheap ebay 2" suspension lift?.
Are lockers worth the money?
Can a LSD be put in the rear?
Any other ideas would be appreciated
Thanks.

It's pretty easy to have a hectic rig that's still legal in QLD, all bar the tyres.
I've read a few things here about LSD's and afaik they are really rare and not that good, go an airlocker if you're serious.
Lots of people will say don't do the bodylift, I've got one, I didn't put it in though I've found it's handy as I've also done a transfer lift, which keeps it higher than it would normally be.
If you do a bit of searching around, they say the best bang for buck suspension lift is the 50mm EFS and hilux/commodore shocks combination.

body lift would be better for clearing tyres than the ebay lift, and seeing as they are cheap off here i'd definately do it
the old man emu/commo/hiace set up works well for me as a suspension lift,
you'll clear 31's with 2inch body 2 inch suspension and its reasonably cheap to do
