What is the main difference other than the diff width and the flares??
Are the chassis the same?

No.... its not. Its a NT sierra. With WT diff housing and axles, NT centres, and WT destroying flex.

With a better scrub radius. Better flex. Easier ruf and custom bar options.. nt spacing is where its at.
Not to mention nt diffs with a good driver often go much much further than a wt diffed rig

Thats a bit of a stretch You are talking 75mm extra wheel track and the same flex stock for stock. I'd say to be more accurate, a WT is more stable than a NT, and with the same driver, could be driven further than a NT sierra .

down it rut central (VIC) nt is often an advantage as the vehicle is too narrow to drop right down into the rut, and as such will keep driving rather than sitting on the diff pumpkin

so if im dropping my replacing my wt sierra onto a nt sierra chassis. Only thing I will need to worry about will be the spring hangers?
My next question is do you have to refab them if your using wt diffs?
