Has anyone used compressed air to pop out the dints in a fuel tank? What sort of pressure would it need? Any thoughts before I take it down the servo and hook it up? (I don't want to blow it up at home )

I just do it at home. Then I build a bash guard....

Yes,be very very careful of the fumes. The compressed air when it blows through produces fumes (not a mist which is not as bad) you can see the "mirage" of the vapors flowing out any where air may leak.

Even a tiny spark would mean a very big boom.

How much pressure do they need? Just start with a little and keep going? What is a good way to seal up the filler neck?

Some here have used a rag so it's kind of it's own over pressure relief, you don't want too much and blow the seams.

I cracked my tank by using little mounts of air so be careful with the trigger

Yep the rag for a pressure relief =good idea.

we did a tail pipe once, and we used a potato to seal on end, and on the other we also plugged with a potato, but shoved the air thingo through the potato on one side for a good seal.. Popped the dints right out.

Then we shot the one plug potato out like the pipe was a cannon armsup
