Both SWb, what differences are there in terms of drivetrain interchangability?
Are the chassies going to be the same?
82 is a NT, correct?

82 is very old.. I think my spares 1 was 82...

What do you need.

All drivetrain wont interchange. Unsure about transfer, lower ratios etc.

Guards/ window frame/ pillers should be same but older grill etc.

Bumpers are different
Wt have plastic extensions.

There are alot of differences!

I'll take the grille if you end up getting it 8)

The very early Sierras even had drum brakes on the front.

Yeah it has drums.

So basically, as a spares vehicle it is a waste of time, as nothing but body panels will cross over, correct?

the front clip will bolt up but the rest of the body won't. it will have 4.1 centers that you can use. engine will be a 1 ltr/ 4 speed transfer will be lower but don't know if it will have the switch.

what are you chasing? if the engine/box goes from mine i'll be pretty much throwing the rest out.

Eventually I want a second sierra, but one to cut into a ute/tubeframe POS.
I think starting from a WT would be best, as bits will swap with my current one.
i think I will just let this one slide...

Thanks for the input guys.

diff centres wont swap, 1 litre are smaller

not much of use on em really, unless it has some good bits you could flog off as spares are scarce

Outer Sydney - I'll decide tomorrow, it needs to be worthwhile hiring a car trailer and filling my garage with rust on wheels for a few months...
