Thanks tintop, you didnt buy them from jimnybits personally though did you?

No mate ... Didnt personally do it.. But the guy I purchased them off did and from what I heard from him there was no hassle (bar the incorrect packaging of the springs but that was there suppliers fault)

The guy who purchased the gear was krunchi off hear..

@monkey.. Yeh flex is good.. Compareable go the toughdog kit.. But at a fraction of the cost.. so far it has set me back 500 for everything (including new shocks that will go on in the future) with most parts new or very low klms travelled. So I have to be happy with that.

Pretty good.. I dont find it harsh.. But I am not running a complete kit so unsure how there shocks are valved etc. as that may change how it handles.

I would like to drive a jimny with a toughdog kit fitted just to compare and see..

Yes I know that I have to take into account the weight of the patrol.

I doubt they would have the dame valving as the patrol ones

complete kit on the way now, panhards, shocks, springs, radius arms, brake lines, drop brackets. total cost 1200 delivered.

going to darwin next week so hopefully will be waiting for me when i get home. I jacked the car up 75mm to see what it would look like and took some photos with my phone, posting them soon.

yeah i know, i did add a few more pumps on the jack past 75mm to allow for sag in the current springs, but i just wanted to see if the wheels looked tiny.

Hey buddy I just bought my jimny and i am thinking about doing the Jimnybits 3" lift. Exactly like yours. so u def recommend the kit? how are the road manners. Also did you end up fixing the death wobble? If so could you please fill me in?

PS car looks great!

Hey mate,
Yeah I rate the kit 100% ES1000 rocks! took it to Cape York last week and it took it like an absolute champion! Road manners are awesome, i still have sway bar fitted (dont see a reason to remove it really) body roll is fine.
My death wobble is eliminated, I replaced all the bearings in the hub including wheel bearings, i also re-shimmed with the shims from suzuki, but i ordered the set from bigjimny also incase the force tension on the knuckles was out (it wasnt). If you have the problems yourself, replace the bearing and put the shims in, and MAKE SURE you have a tension guage to test the turning tension.

OH, i also changed the tie-rod ends as they were looking a bit average, then got it aligned... wobble gone.
