speedo cable

Was out wheeling and snagged my speedo cable which then sat on the exhaust, which then busted it.
Would an 84 speedo cable work on a 92 sierra?
Doesnt matter how accurate it is, I can adjust.

transfer end is the same, I think there is differences in teh speedo end but not real sure though

the speedo cable in my 90 model sierra is the same as the one in my 84 drover

it cost me about $25 for a genuine speedo cable from suzuki so it might be better to just grab that

bought a speedo cable today from suziworld. cost me about$45.
