Im Now thinking of keeping Suzy how she is..

Low, Light and wide,

I can always go around things as there is mostly a side track on our tracks if necessary.

The Fact is. I have a swb suzy. She will be just too short and would be a rolly polly machine.

If i had a lwb then i would prob go bundys etc.

I dont like the look of mega stretched wheelbase on a swb.

I think there is some wisdom in that approach.

Are you concerned about ground clearance?

The thing is, she works well now!

She does put others to shame like pootrols etc big lift mines bigger then yours bla bla.

The Bundy diffs were going to be the final strength because i NEED a front air locker.. :D
And alittle more clearence would help. The main things that i hit are the front shackles(which i cant change with this setup) and the rear front spring hangers, they just dig into rocks!
Other then the diffs on the odd occasion..

Im now thinking just going full front axles because a locker in the front is sure to go snappy axles time....The rears seem to be holding up, well twisted, but still holding these tyres...

Should bought these axles earlier :?

In that case you can probably get away with some tweaking

Get an airlocker and chromo shafts. I think the bigger shafts use a rear airlocker (bigger dia. 26 spline shafts) so check that before you order your locker.

You probably can't do much about this unless you change your setup a bit. Moose has only good things to say about his shackle reversal, and he gets good wheel travel and has a great approach angle.

I have seen a mod done to the spring hangers before, it's like a little ramp and smoothes out the transition to the spring hanger so it's not just sticking out there. It doesn't give you any better clearance but would make it easier to slide over things, rather than just hook up on them.

ah ok,

The front diff can be pushed alittle further forward now my steering is better.

Also i may cut the rear mount to the size of the bushes, then plate them underneith so all smooth, maybe even a nylon strip :P

If i go locker, front axles are going in. That is no option. so im up for 2k.

Which is a diff conversion without lockers..
