Will a gti twin cam head bolt strate on to my stock 1.3 carby engine ?

possibly, but you would be better off imo using the whole motor to suit the head. Pistons will be different also to suit the gti valves.

Just 1.6 it. There is a bloke near you who knows all about 1.6 conversions and I'm sure he could point you in the right direction.

Speaking of 1.6's, I think domgat bought that Baleno we were talking about.

That's the one.
There is a 1.8 that looks good at batemans bay too. But more complicated conversion.
There is another that should go for peanuts in Sydney but needs a head gasket done.... with other possible issues of course.
