Hey guys. I just recently bought a Baleno to do a conversion into my sierra.
first of all tho i'm going to teach my sister how to drive.

As it turns out the water pump needs replacing. So i've got a new pump and
went to put it in and its about 30 - 40mm off the side wall and i just cant get to about 3 of the bolts holding it on. There is air con and power steering pipe passing around this area as well making at an absolute prick and reminding me why i love my sierra so much lol.

I was wondering if it would be easier to undo some engine mounts and jack the motor up a little to get to it all. Or if any of you guys know an easier way could you please share

Jacking the engine up could give you enough room.

You are fitting a new timing belt as well aren't you?

Have you removed the access panel that allows you to get in around the lower crankshaft pulley? I don't remember too much about that, I'll try and have a look at it when I get home.
