my missus and i rolled my jimny into a tree on sunday night an im looking at another jimny. i think its a g1.3bb 2000 model.

Yeh... Can be done.
will be alot easier if you swap over everything ie; dash etc.. But could be made tofit and wired intothe g13 stuff.
You will need to use a M series box, engine loom and ecu, possibly radiator aswell.

i didnt think the m series ecu would run the m18. thats handy i have all that stuff from my crash haha

it was easy! haha just let my missus drive haha. i picked up a 00 model on thursday night which has done 170k and in heaps better nick for 5000 so im happy!
