I have just finished my converion using a mk2 gti and std comp (engine is out of my old tin top)was running real sweet so I took it for a run man she flys BUT I was coming back up my street and the coil lead came off I put it back on and now it starts but stalls straight away anyone seen this before?

is the pipe going to the throttle body connected/on? i know with my new swift when it comes off as its got the afm on it the engine will just stall after start up

Yeah all conected I think is may have somthing to do with the trigger wire to the computer

try reboot the computer,
disconnect power for a bit,
it may be stuck in limp mode from the lead falling off?

I found out what it was not good its sucking oil though the pvc valve and it muworked its way down to the afm so I pulled out the afm cleaned it and the intake and it started thats after going throught akk the wiring and double checking it motor looks like it has blow by mabye from me floging it Ill fit a oil catch can for now and later Ill re ring to motor
