hey guys chasing some one to weld on sum shock hoops in the front of the zook and also to install two power steer setups on our two zooks also have the powersteer pump box hoses and the kit to insatll! will pay 25 bucks an hour to do the work located in newcastle area cameron park!

thanks guys and yes i will be supplying the welder if it wasn't stuffed but if u use your own i will supply what ever u need to get the work done!
and never herd of Teal Slacks Racing/Wild Boyz is it a work shop explain!

To explain what the others are trying to say... the price you are offering for decent workmanship, especially for someone that the person doing the job does not know, is a little low. I say low as thats what you would pay the waitress to bring beer out to you while you are working on zook.
On the other hand if you had a good mate who was skilled enough to do the job, $25 is too high, in fact cash is not considered at all in the slab bartering system.
Point is, for someone that does not know you well, you would just agree on an outright price or at least $100 an hour. Then there's issues of culpability if anything happens...

Welding on the shock hoops wouldn't take very long, but you would still have the time spent loading you gear up, then travelling to the job, then unloading and setting up etc etc. $25 would cover the first 15 mins, excluding GST.
FYI the going rate for mobile welders these days floats between $99 and $132 per hr. This includes consumables, travel and labour.
