As the title states can new bearings be re pressed off an axle and pressed back on to be re used?
I think my bearings are on back to front as my drum is making contact with the backing plate..

Have you replaced your wheel bearings at the same time?
I had the same issue when I used NT wheel bearings on WT. 5mm difference.

I got the wrong size brake shoes, there were 2 different sizes in the WT's, the change over was about 93, but some of the later models still had the old size, must have been using up left over parts.
Anyway, I've got a brand new set of shoes here to suit the later model drums if anyone wants em, they can have em for a long neck.

How will that stop my problem nato78?
How much will a mechanic charge to do wheel bearings or just fix my problem?
Can bearings be pressed off and reused again?
I am seriously over it, its been 8 days going, something that should of took 1 day aswell

I'm not sure you'd be able to get the locking collar off the axle without grinding it off.
If you can I can't see why you can't use the bearings as long as they aren't damaged in the removal process.

he changed the title of the thread after you posted that, it was originally about rear brake shoes.
