You can get the adapter from Ben T off ebay delivered to your door for $200.
I can sell you a gearbox for $150 and the correct jackshaft that will fit 1300 5speed and 1 litre transfer for $100. (being an early 1 litre your transfer will be non switch so you cant just change the flange onthe transfer to suit a 1300 jackshaft)
You are also going to need to cut your mounts off the chassis and weld mounts from a 1300 chassis on. I may have some 1300 mounts here as well.
Then it is just a case of getting that engine of your dads mate.
I should be able to help you with some 1300 mounts if 2stroker doesn't have any.

mate, if you go for a 2stroker you won't regret it, he's an awesome guy and will always help you out with information, and how to do it, and he's really cheap on his parts that he sells. he has also helped me out with all my parts and information on my sierra build.

I bought a swift/baleno engine and converted it with Vitara parts,
from my dead engine.
I doubt the Vitara G16 engines come with everything,
but it can't hurt to ask them.

reckon quickset cement internally then strategically placed would be suffice to make sure nothing was salvageable was <--> that close to giving RPM a free factory Aircon install in the form of a 1.3 through their front window when mine went kaput not 12 months after the install :/ 6 month warranty... but is not covered if installed in a 4wd :/
go with 2strokers advice. and dont forget PICTURES!!! you could save another young fella alot of work if you do a good build up thread

the look on their face come monday morning would be priceless when they can't get cars into their workshop cause of the concrete gearbox bollards infront of the roller door.
