Hello All,

Im ordering all the bits I need to service the Jimny (because you cant just go buy them here) and I am also ordering a Donaldon at the same time.

Anybody already fitted one to a Jimny (in the engine bay, not on the top of a snorkel)?
I'm mostly asking so I know what size intake I should get..
Any pics that would be great too.

Neo.

ooh, im very tempted to get one of these to replace the standard air box aswell

Basically its the same Cyclopac Air Cleaner that the old HiAce vans have, but brand new! (but also a bit $$ at $223)

Even though its the tropics here, this island that Im on (Efate) is basically 100% limestone and its soo dusty.

I had a donaldson pre cleaner on my moke.
Best investment ever for outback travel, and dust.
Air filters and motors lasted much longer

OK.

I think Ive worked out what Im going to do. Its a little extreme, but so is the dust.

I will move the battery to the other side and put the precleaner where the battery is currently.

The only problem is that where you would normally put the Duel Battery tray the brake booster is in the way, I will have to also move the washer bottle forward a bit probably.

I would not have sold my sierra if I could drive it here.

You can road register a buggy here, but only if its LHD or single seat.

Gah.

I've ordered a pre cleaner.
Hopefully by the time it gets here I will have made a battery tray and shifted it over.
