What's the best way to adjust the front.
My front diff is sticking around and inch to the left.
Ive tried every thing. I can't seem to move the diff over at all
Need this done within 2 hrs. I'm not having much luck
This is the jimnybit's one? Sit the car on its wheels. Loosen off the locking bolts, get a level or a fence paling or some other straight edge with a wide-ish base, and a tape measure.
Place the level vertical against the wheel arch so it runs past the centre of the hub to the ground. Take a measurement of the gap between the hub and the level, then check the other side.
Take the difference between the two measurements, Divide it by half.
Then use a shifter to wind the adjuster out or in by this amount.
Check your measurements again, if you're me you'll have gne too far and have to back a little off.
Once you've got it right, lock it off with the locking nuts..
Be ready to check It again in a week or so once the suspension has settled.
Yes it's the td ones, and has to be taking out one end to adjust it. Pain in the arse really. I got it pretty much good now.
I just had to whine it in to the length needed and push the car till the bolt when it. I have the awaome wobbles now Provs because I havnt done the castor corrected
