ok, quick question.... is there an easy way to get the speedo drive and hand brake cable disconnected from your transfer case? (1.3 nt) i have to take it down to workshop to get a new input shaft seal fitted but cant seem to disconnect either of these cables

i'm not sure about the handbrake cable (i just took the whole handbrake off)
to take the speedo cable off just undo that bolt on the side of the case where the cable goes in and the cable should just pull out

Just take the handbrake cable off the lever and leave it attached, it's a PITA as you have to remove the drum off the spline in the vehicle otherwise.

thanks guys, found the speed drive bolt under a few years of mud, just ripped the handbrake cable off where it attches to the lever
