There has been alot of talk about using a commadore shock in the rear of a Vitara but what about the GV? How much longer is the commadore shock over a stock Vitara shock? The GV shock is almost the same as the Vit but the valving is suposed to be different as its a bigger, heavier car.

I put some camira shocks in the rear of mine, but i dont have as much lift as you. I tried the VL commo rears i have sitting in my vit lwb with the calmini but they were just way too long.
I reckon they would be closer to what you need, i could measure one for you tomorrow as i have one out sitting in the back of the lwb at my stepdads.

I used vt wagon shocks, about 59cm's long extended so I have 75mm's of lift. works perfect, actually 20mm longer would be better and no springs falling out (been there done that) with the sedan shocks that are 66cm's long.
