at some stage in the near distant future i'm getting some new bar work its obviously gonna be black but i'm not sure if it should be matte or gloss
my current bullbar is half gloss and half matte and i'm not sure what would look the best
also i've got to paint the flares too should i paint them to match the body or the bar work?

Cheers
Mike

well my rear bar is gloss black with the rest of the car and i think it looks great. I would keep the flares the same colour as the body unless changing to a bushwaker flare

Hammertone Black.

It's cheap, it blends in well when you have to touch it up, can spray it on, get it in a pressure pack, or paint it on with a brush, it doesn't matter.

If the bar work is their for a prctical reason, you're going to knock it about sooner or later, so go the cheap way.

Flares to match colour of car and gloss black on barwork , use a epoxy paint or two-pack as it is impact resistant and won't dull with mud , Cheers Paul.
