Anyone fitted a double din head unit
Straight into an 06 Jimny? Looked at the bracket
From jb to fit a single and it was a ridiculous price just for the part so will fit a double din. Looking at a JVC one has anyone done one of these? Cheers

Can you elaborate on what you mean please. Reads like you are trying to fit a double din head unit with a single din bracket but it was too expensive.

just wondering who has installed an aftermarket double din head unit in the jimny? was going to install a single in replacement of my original double din but the part was too expensive.

use the original duel din bracket to fit your new 1 din head unit, and then install a GME MBD001 DIN MOUNT for your uhf. cut face plates rounded to suit dash.
ill test this theory for you tomorrow, and take pics.
