Hose the Bejubus out of the valley, degrease front of eng & let dry.
Undo air filter box, take top cover off the intake, hose clamp for the intake on the throttle body, the front intake has a ally pipe with 4 12mm nut's, they are next & BOTH pipe's slide out at the same time.
Drain coolant & remover top hose & the 4 10mm nut's on the fan, then the 2-4 ( think it's 4) 10mm bolt's on the shroud, slide both out at the same time.
Loosen bottom pulley bolt & leave on TDC
There is fuel rail & heater pipe that run's down the driver's side bank, they need to come out of the way.
Dis connect the intake harness at the plug at the rear of the left bank & the earth behind the throttle body, undo the 14 12mm bolt's down the center of the intake & lift it up, 4 of them are stud's, so if you want the intake off you will have to remove throttle body first.
You will need a lil leverage to lift the intake ( the valley intake is 2 bit's)
Remove cover's off coil pack, mark cyl number's on plug's & remove coil's.
Each rocker cover has an oil breather at the back that need's to be removed, then 4 10mm nut's per cover...
The lil washer's I recommend to replace, or at least try not to damage, but they will have to come out before the cover's will lift.
Remove bottom
Remove 4 10mm bolt's from the sump & keep separate as these 4 are different to the timing cover bolt's ( can cause damage if fitted in the wrong spot)
Remove all timing cover bolt's & double check you got em all out, then check AGAIN.
Grab both top side's of the cover & pull towards you, should move, then walk the cover off......
Clean & re-seal & work you way backwards.....
Get the seal for the w/pump to timing cover or it will leak & if you can get your hand's on some Suzuki gray sealant, get it......... if not 3bond gray oil sealant.....

Enjoy!!!
