O.K. Just found myself an engineer who is keen to work with me on this crazy idea & help me get it done.
LWB Sierra chassis, with a Corolla body.
Mod codes will be LH5 , LH6 & L01.

This will be a medium term build so don't expect to much to quick.

a tape measure the other day so i wonder what he is up to.

A few years back there was a Gemini panel van 4x4 being built at Brendale it was on a Diahatsu Rocky chassis. There was a guy at Caloundra driving around a 4x4 Datsun 120Y station wagon in the late 1980's and within the last couple of years I have seen a KE30 Corolla on a Seirra chassis driving on Flinders Beach at Straddie. It had sign writing on the side that said something like Redlands Four Wheel Drive Centre or Redland Bay Four Wheel Drive Centre. It looked really cool and got heaps of looks on the beach. What Corolla are you thinking of using and what engine.

Found this pic of a KE35

Thats been done is QLD years ago. Danny at Redlands 4wd??

Would think it could not be as straight forward these days with ICV shit. I even had to fudge my body swap on my 4runner as a body chop because it was going to be a pain in the ass as a body swap.

was originally something I thought of doin 20 years ago in NSW. I have seen the one in redlands plenty of times & I don't give a shit if mine isn't the first.
As I said it's an ICV & I have an Engineer guiding me through, so it'll be a bit of work but that's half the fun of it.
