Was out driving the other day... started to rain pretty heavily and I noticed there was water hitting my right foot every now and then.

Weird. Didn't really car... but then the passanger got a bit of water fall onto their feet.

Now as much as I love my Sierra always allowing me to be very close with my environment...

Has anyone else experienced this and found the source? Is it come through the small rust spots around the windscreen? Or did you find it some coming in somewhere else?

(If it's the rust spots around the windscreen - Can you just attack around your windscreen with some silicone?)

vent at rear of bonnet, below windscreen,
is blocked by leaves and crud.
It supposed to drain rain water thru rubber tubes into engine bay.
But when lblocked, it overflows onto feet.

Very common

Yeah more than likely that vent that christover1 mentioned, if you look under the bonnet you will see 2 small rubber "downpipes" on the firewall either side of the transmission tunnel (passenger side one is below the coil), the bottom of these usually has a rubber flap, start by poking your finger up in there to see if it is all blocked up.
