i have a 99 gv with 2inch lift the car came with 225.75r16 maxis 751
they did rub a bit so i got some 1 inch spacers fits the tracks better now but they still rub in diffrent place and have a wobble beetween 60k to 80k pity i cant get rims with this spacer built into the rim? now im going to get new tyres in a smaller size what size do you recomend i dont want to chop the guards was thinking of bfg km2 but $330 each new compared to 751 $220
any advice would be great

you can get rims with the spacer built in.... it's called a rim with more negative offset.

yeah i thought so but no one can tell me where i can get some from im happy with stock rims can i get them modifyed with some off set would i just add 1 inch

Are tyres rubbing when you turn on the firewall side and on the bumper side on the black splash guard?
Mine did with that size tyre.

225/75 R16 on stock rims
I trimmed the plastic on the firewall side and used a 4lb hammer to flatten the seam. Then fitted the plastic back on but at a slight angle. It only just touched that side.
On the bumper side i just relocated the bracket that holds the splash guard in position closest to the engine bay pushing the splash guard towards the front of the car away from the tyre.

235/60R16 come stock on them but they're highway terrain.

I run 225/70/16 AT3s with 2in lift. There is a slight rubbing at full lock on occasion, haven't bothered to see what it is though yet.

I'd full lock is on the chassis, mine touch there in tight spots.

my full lock was the chassis but with the spacers its only the middle of the guard at full lock
just came back from tyre shop seems the km2 tyres are 8mm smaller than my 751 so will prob got for them i did like the at(325) in the same size the km2s ($345) look like noisy tyres i only go hardcore beach driving

That is similar to what i did to my guard at the front.
I got the goodyear duratrac for $300, they're not very loud.
