Vitara Steel Front Diffs???

What model(s) came out with the steel front diff? Was it just the diesel models?
And what ratios did they come out with?

I have a TD11V (SV620 S, Austrailian E24, Vitara-5sp, 1995 JLX2, Type1 V6. 2.0L H20A, 4WD) and am looking in to what "things" I can do to it :twisted:

Don't know about NZ models.
But here it is only Grand Vitaras that can have a Steel diff.
And only in the manuals.
Not real sure of these comments.

But my steelie came from a 98 GV V6 Manual.
Ratio was 4.3 in mine.

The later auto lwb v6's has the steel diff too :wink:

Yep my auto LWB 03 GV has a steel diff.

my 02 (badged 03) LWB Auto has an alloy diff.
