I recently took my old steering dampener shock off and replaced it with a rear shock from my sierra its bigger but i made it fit.

Is this going to be a problem at all?

Cheers

Yes. This is bad.

Steering dampers aren't the same as a shock absorbers. They are not valved the same, nor are they constructed the same way.

Take it off.

Steering dampers have equal compression in each direction and no rebound.
Shock absorbers may look similar but are a totally different beastie.
