i own both a coily and a 4age powered corolla and think it would be a great combo using a t50 or w55, all that i can think of would be a custom jack shaft
apart from engine mounts ETC can you get kits if so where from and the rough cost, and did it work well or a waste of time.

Many have been done and although it is a basic conversion for an experienced person there is a lot more to it than first meets the eye, here is a short but not complete list:

make engine mounts
move transfer case back due to longer T50
shorten the jackshaft
lengthen the front shaft
sorten the rear shaft
convert intake manifold to RWD (unless it is from a RWD sprinter)
covert cooling system to RWD (unless it is from a RWD sprinter)
custom exhaust
custom radiator
efi fuel system
convert from cable to hydrolic clutch
brake modification (see pic, no room for standard brake booster)
cut floor for new gear stick and transfer stick position
rewire with ecu

Some people have fitted them with the original brake booster and not moved the transfer back but remember the 4age is a heavy engine and needs to be moved back as far as possible.

you'd have to change the ignition system for a 20v, dizzy sits at the back of the head so in rwd conversions most people change to coil on plug with an aftermarket ecu to save cutting a hole in the firewall.

apart from that 20v engines are the same as 16v conversion wise.

Interesting.

What did you use for the basis of the engine mounts? did you modify the toyota or suzuki ones to suit? or?

Which clutch master did you use? how much work/modification to the pedal box is required to shoe horn the clutch master in?

Without a standard brake booster - what brake booster did you end up using?

Custom, or part custom part toyota

I made a plate that bolted to the booster hole's & mounted the clutch off that, master bolted to said plate to.

No booster, look at the pic.

Cant do much about modifying either suzuki or toyaota ones, it calls for custom mounts completely refabricated.

Clutch master is from erly 90's hilux.

Most of the conversions run unboosted brakes however a VH40 style in line remote booser can be used.
