this is how i did mine so i thought i share the info, this is in a LWB so the commo shocks work well and not to hard.

the rear of mine is set up to flex relly well with no dramas.
dobson lifted springs $100 (cost price thru a mate),
20mm spring spacer $50 from bruce,
VP commodore gas shocks $13 from a wreckers but brand new(give about 7in more travel, no i'm not having any problems with this and not to hard either).
60mm of lift with 235/75/15 tyres. works perfect and cost me $163 for the rear

front i just did a strut mount flip which cost $13 in nuts, bolts and washers with 30mm spring spacers that cost $50 from bruce(i have a bull bar which wieghs it down a bit so maybe using 25mm spacers would be better if you don't have a bull bar).
$63 for a 60mm lift that is perfect and doesn't require diff drop brakets or camber bolts.

all up $226, just need to shop around, worst case it could be done for about $320 with brand new bits.

also i reckon you could fit 30in tyres like this and will easily keep up with a sierra with a 60mm lift and same size tyres. i reccommend removing or just undoing your front sway bar to allow the front end to move a bit more independantly.

also this is just how mine is set up, negitive feed back not required, positive is fine.

did it give you 60mm lift or 60mm higher than what it was?
are you able to post up measurements from the rim lip to guard so others can compare with what they have now?

have you had the alignment checked? does the camber come in at spec still?

how do the shocks go for compressed length? I was under the impression they were a bit long there but have never had any measurements, what did you fond there?

i didn't measure it first(actually i did, from the ground to gaurd which i realised isn't acurate) but now at the front theres 69cm lip to gaurd and on the back is 71cm.

i had a wheel alignment a few months back with 20mm spacers in and was dead on but the front looks almost in line with the rear camber wise still.

i don't have measurements of the shocks anymore, with stock springs and 30mm spacers the 235's would just rub on the gaurd at full flex so they compress a little to much me thinks asthey were chewing the tyre a bit. cause they were rubbing i changed to the set up i have now by getting longer rear springs and swapping my spring spacers front to back to level it out.

shit would you believe I jsut measured something on mine and totally forgot to get heights to compare

once its settled its worth checking the alignment again, cost me a lot of $$ on some expensive tyres by eyeballing once, I learnt my lesson

if they allow the tyres to hit the guards thats pretty good length wise I would say, may be worth putting a spacer on the bumpstop (easy to do with some RHS) so you dont smash the tyres on a big hump and dont allow the shocks to bottom as it will stuff em pretty quick.

I do have photo's but due to my bad sense of humour i seem to have uspet some people in another thread so i'm not posting up pics sorry.

from memory, i measured it on the weekend, it was 70cm from lip to gaurd on the front and 72cm on the rear when i measured it on level ground.

royce, do you have a body lift by any chance, that's why yours is 50mm higher than mine or you have a 4in lift lol opposed to my 2in lift

what is it stock on a 4 door vit, ayone know?

no bodylift on mine, dont even know what springs they are other than they were in a GV once and there are some random size spacers in there, not massive ones either cause spacers are shit
