If he used the body mounts like mine on page 1, There will be minimal flex. like mm measurements.

Nice work monkeyman :)

Thanks mate :P

I haven't had to cut any thing to make the slider's fit yet, it was all pre-cut to make the 31's fit

I like the look of them, but drilling hole's into the chassis to mount rock slider's :?

Like most things, doing it the "best" way is time consuming and fabrication intensive. Installing doubling plates and crush tubes is a big job, but keeping the underside of the rails flush is pretty critical for capability IMHO.

Don't get me wrong, I think you've done a great job with your sliders, and considering you already have factory provided rock anchors (radius arm brackets) under the chassis, it's probably not critical, but I wouldn't be building anything that went under the chassis on my car.

The problem I see with these is that they are body AND chassis mounted.....

they look sweet.they will work good just dropping straight down onto something or bellying out but what about a bit of door protection if its leaning over in some rocks or ruts??

how far up/out do you propose the outriggers go? as far as i can see they are about at their usable limit. Unless you weld the doors shut, go dukes of hazard style and have them coming up halfway up the car....

I think appsie is talking about the flat plate ones, not the tube ones.
