gday guys,

Just done the G16 conversion on my sierra. Can anyone recommend a good (read. cheap) place for mod plates in the Brisbane or Gold Coast area?

There is a guy out behind the warehouse tavern at pimpama.

My mate has used him a few times. He is really good.

I have tried contacting my mate but he is at work till Wednesday.

The DOT phone number is 3253 4851. They will ask you about what mods you need plated, give you the relevant code/s and then provide you with phone numbers for approved people in your area.

Ringing DOT was a fail of an idea, they said only one guy in the area, so i call him and they dont even do mod plates only rwc's. Anywho's if anyone else is interested i went with this guy...

Engine conversion is done already, mod plate guy coming round on the wknd.

Got a mate on north side Brisbane. Owns Holley pro sport performance. Cheap and will mod anything you ask ;-)

pm me if you need his number. He also does mods mobile with his transport well he did previously so that's an option if you need him to come to you

Same guy who did the mod plate for my engine conversion. Quite reasonable prices too.

So that modplate.com.au guy did good, nice guy to talk to as well. Highly recommend to anyone else needing mod plates.

Thanks for the information, I'll be starting my conversion when I get back from holidays so this info will come in very handy.
