Hey I got a Suzuki Jimny 2001 soft top and I was wondering if anyone can give me advice on how to get the axel shaft out ? Because at the moment the 4x4 only locks In at the transfer case and it spines both drive shafts but it doesn't spin both front and rear wheels it only spins the rear so I want to take the axel shafts out to take out the main ring pinion to see if there a broken set of teeth or if the axel shafts are snapped

Check the free wheel hubs are not the problem.
That is a more common problem.

You'll need to wait for a more experienced Jimny owner on axle removal.

Add Suzuki Jimny 2001 to thread title, it will help.

Jimny's run a vacuum operated Free Wheeling Hub, there is probably a split or a leak in the vacuum line.

Are they automatic free wheel hubs?
Could be a vaacuum leak, or electric problem.

Most people convert to manual hubs, for reliability.
