hehe one thing I could never figure was why you had to upgrade brakes on an engine swap, I mean afterall same weight, will be same effort to pull up from legal speeds so who cares if it can go faster and so on.
but, the way the rules are as part of an engine swap the brake test is a set of accelerate to a given speed the brake hard down to a speed then accelerate back to a speed and brake hard and so on a set number of times, so more power = less time to accelerate so less time for the brakes to cool so they fade faster and you fail
here ends todays trivia lesson

hey mate looks good, just to clear some things up,i am not an engineer, never claimed to be...have a mate that is...and you dont need a spare, and if you are carrying a "spare" it dosnt even have to fit the car...its only as soon as the tire hits the road that all rules apply......and about the sr20 in the zooki...looks good...what are the mod codes???on the mod plate??

Holy Crap 139kg plus a heavier gearbox, thats more than TWICE a Zook 1.3 !
So even in a LWB its going to severely affect balance.

It would probably improve the centre of gravity, but at the same time shift it a long way forward too. Especially in a swb soft top.
Would need some serious suspension upgrades in the front to hold that up.
My teeth and kidneys are hurting from here.
