Toyota Hilux Single Cab 1995 2.8L Diesel (Last year of the Solid Axle)
- Under 275,000km - Reconditioned gearbox at 250,000km (planning to put a VP series 2 V6 engine) - Timing belt/tensioner changed at 250,000km - Water pump changed at 250,000km - New diff and gearbox oils done at 250,000km - All brand new hoses (still have old as spares) - Air condition - Power steering - SR5 Cup Holders - Red Autotechnica bucket seats (good fabric not the new nylon) - Uniden UHF with arial - Pioneer CD/MP3 player with USB input - Custom steel tray with aluminium chequer plate top (worth around $2K) - LED ligts on rear tray (recessed number plate) - Cheap spotties on top of custom tray - Hella spot lights on bulbar - Tow bar - Fishing rod holders - Have a spare aluminium tray (listed for seperate sale or can negotiate on price) - No rust
Bad points: - Tyres will need replacing soon - Front bull bar has a dent on the LHS - RHS door has a small dent - Aerial bent
I’ve had the car for over 3yrs now and it’s been a very good car that hasn’t missed a beat. The plan was to put a V6 into it and making it into a daily driver but very capable off-road however, the plans changed as I brought a 100 series Landcruiser. I still have the V6 engine that’s only done 120,000km and the computer loom for the conversion if interested
I would love to keep it but I’ve already have a couple of other projects along with 4 other 4WD’s so a fifth is not an option
Asking $8500 but im negotiable on price
