What size is the detent ball?

I have a sierra tcase without a detent ball, and I went through the FSM and couldn't find a size, if someone could help me out it would be much appreciated.

There are two different size balls in the Sierra tcase.

A large one is used for the 4wd light switch.

Three smaller ones are used for the selector levers.

I can get you exact measurements when i'm home tonight - which ball are you reffering to?

I MAY have a set of ball from the kit I got my shifter bush.

At a guess I'd say its 6mm. But its only a guess.

Pretty close Mark!

Digital callipers say...

Large = 9.5mm
Small = 7.8mm

Prob about .2-.5-+ mm variation

Is this ball called the Detent ball or Denten ball...Just for future reference as I had quite a bit of trouble finding this thread.
