I think if it is the lock right with the couplers, then you cannot.
Otherwise you may be able to - Is your truck a WT or NT? I have a feeling only NT ones fit LRs in the front...

I am thinking of moving my LR to the front diff, as 90% of my driving is on road... Probably going to 3.9 ratio as well, 5.12 is way slow.

the only way it will work in your front diff is with rear axle splines
i think the H/D front axles and cv have the 26 spline axles.
you need the lockright without carrier to fit in a stock front.

let me know if you wanna hock your diff gears off i know a fella that is chasing
some and there are no diff bits in the NT. i cant even find a set of 3.9s
and MUD-PIG has had no luck on finding a 3.7 center.

So use the front carrier, with the lockright and 26 spline axles?
I need the 26 spline axles because of the couplers, correct?

Windows live messenger - it is like talking, but with typing instead of moving lips. It would enable me, or others to chat to you, which would be good as you are some sort of suzuki oracle...

Oh and answer my previous question fukya...

From my experiences, Pre mid 1988 WTs and 1.3 NTs had 4 pinion front diffs. I have an april '88 build WT sierra and it had a 4 pinion front. Third members are interchangable from front to rear. just need to swap the spider gears in the centre unless you have HD 26 spline axles.

When I got my airlocker, I pulled the axles and the removed the whole 3rd member centre with lockrite installed and just bolted it into the rear. My airlocker then was installed into my rear diff and shoved into the front housing with the hd axles. works good mate!

i am no oracle mate i just have a lot of spare time for research and diffs are something that i have put together for a few people in Darwin and Katherine.
ball actually does the measuring tech stuff though.

a rear diff center will bolt into the front diff all that needs to be changed is
the side gears as the front and rear axles have different splines.

N/T centers will bolt into W/T diffs but the tail shaft flanges are different,
what we did on a mates car was to make a W/T-N/T hybrid tail shaft.

haha yep i have just discovered the internet and this took 20min to type,
but fuckyas i live in the real bush. :finger:

Let me know when you want to sell the 5.12's. I have a set of 3.7's if you can't find 3.9's.

WT = 3.7. NT = 3.9. Providing no-one has swapped the ratios.

And to add some more tech

WT maruti's have 4-pin front diff Armsup
