Hey guys as stated above it just over heated but steam was coming from under the intake ?

Is there a water hose under neath the manifold? :-s

It could also be a welsh plug gone in the inlet manifold.

One of those killed my Sierra motor in the desert

Yeah, Under the intake. Comes out the back of the Water pump for sure and I think it's on it's way to the heater matrix. About 1 foot long, 1 inch in diamter, fairly straight I think, but can't remember totally. Theres a nother bendy one out the bottom of the water pump, but sounds like you blew the other one like royce suggests

turns out the leak was caused by a heater hose clip not being on securely.
