Thought I'd put this here, probably been asked before but I can't find it. How do you fit an aftermarket stereo/cd player to a 2009-> jimny? I've seen those one's advertised on fleabay, are they any good? I was thinking more like pioneer /sony/ kenwood/jvc or the like, but I can't find a dash kit. Anyone got an idea?

Buy any double din and leave a small gap all the way around the edge of the radio and just live with it, or cut up bits of generic aftermarket facia and glue them onto the back of the stock facia to fill the gap, or buy a single din and do the same with that but glue in cut up and aftermarket cubby hole under or above it, or buy one of those GPS/DVD playing things of Ebay which will be a perfect fit.

JBHIFI should sell you a complete replacement facia for cost price if you buy a stereo from them, but it aint cheap even at cost price.

I fitted a double din and lived with it. I think it looks fine.

My bro bought a replacement facia from JB's for his GV, they're double din but you can also get that little draw thingy to give you more dash storage and a single din stereo.
