I want to mount my UHF antenna on the rear of my zuk.

I was thinking of mounting it off the spare tyre some how, might have to get a bracket made up.

Has any one done this or know what the best way to do it?

Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks

mine's mounted between spare wheel carrier and tailgate.
i welded 2 pieces of tube to some 6 mil flat and bolted it to the front of the carrier. works well, up hi and doesn't get in the way. i drilled a hole thru tailgate for co-ax.
haven't got time to take off spare for better pic. maybe over w/end

I had a look a mounting my mobile aerial temporarily on the spare wheel bracket but it has a slight upwards angle to it, the aerial would end up hitting the top edge of the soft top. Not sure if the hard top bracket is the same

today i made a bracket up basically the same as BAZZOOK for my soft top vitara, all i had to do was put the holes in the right place, and bend it forwards a little just above the top bolt, and that keeps the antenna away from anything and the base of the antenna flat.

thanks BAZZOOK for the idea, simple 2 make and worked well.
