i am just wondering if them little indicators people are mounting next to the head lights are legal n wear can i get some from

I am sure there would be some that are legal but I think the majority that are used would be illegal. There is a thread on OL that talks about why.

Most of the ones I've seen are semi trailer side lights. They are not legal.

I think most of them would be illegal due to wattage output. Side markers don't legally have to have as high a wattage as front and back indicators. So when they are used as the primary indicators they don't usually meet the regs. Those long LED ones might put out enough legal light and might still fit beside the headlight.

When my car was taken for RWC it needed front indicators (i.e. near the headlights) So the mechanic put LED indicators in. Are these legal? There are so many rules and regs to follow now that its all very daunting

i dont no whether there legal or not, all the ones iv seen are just clearance lights that are on trucks, you can get them from this sit, there pretty good to deal with or any truck shop etc.

Yep, but there is a seperate ADR for each light location, if you want to get really picky.
