"othersite" has their write ups onhow to do an altenator swap so I figured Id do a new one for us..

Please feel free to put in you 2c worth if its of helpful use.

This will be completed withinthe next week or so as time becomes available to fit parts.

But as a basic start a List of parts required and Tools.

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Altenator itself. I followed suit and went the Falcon Job. its rated at 110amp and picked up from a DIY wreckers for the measly sum of $15. Bargain!

Replacement V belt pully is from an XE Falcon. This is from a Bosch branded Alt. this Item fell into my tool box... :oops:

TOOLS:
13mm socket
14mm socket

22mm? socket
ViceGrips
Wire Snips

hahahahhaha ooooooo nah i dont need to run my winch, my 10000watt roof lights, my interior light, reversing light, fridge, second battery, CB, Stereo with 2 12 inch subs, disco lights, etc at the same time.. lol.. reminds me of a thread on outers... that picture would go down well im sure ;)
