just to hijack the thread, any reviews on this type of spacer, you screw the extended studs on to the normal studs then slide the spacer over the new studs.

where as the second pic is the usual wheel spacers. I wouldn't ever use wheel spacer shims(not pictured).

I've used the 2nd type both XX and offroad and never had a problem. I wouldn't recommend on road use as it is illegal.

As long as the nuts are torqued up correctly and periodically checked you won't have a problem.
I can't comment on the 'stud extension' type as I've never seen them before.
