Next week ill be parking the short GV up for two weeks while we go to VIC
I'm going to disconnect the battery to stop it going flat, will the little chip thing that's on the battery terminal be ok with out power for that long?
I only ask cause the last few times that i have disconnected the battery (five mins at the most) then reconnect it it has made a few clicking sounds when i go to start the car :?

Cheers Joe :D

I just left my GV for 4 weeks without disconnecting anything, started first pop when I came back.

What little chip thing do you have on the battery? I pretty sure mine is a straight terminal :S

So long as there's no drain off and battery is still good, it'll be fine for two weeks. Pics of this chip thing?

That looks like a fuse for something, couldn't tell you what tho. Won't matter either way but it should be fine left connected. My ute gets used maybe once every 4-6 weeks, it still starts fine

You should be fine to leave it for weeks without any issues.
My not so daily daily can often sit for 2-3 weeks without use and starts first go everytime.
